Job Title

Production Operator (Button Badge)

Permanent. Full Time. Dayshift 39.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with morning and afternoon breaks and half hour for lunch. Voluntary overtime is available at premium rates to meet operational needs during busy periods.

Location: Herefordshire, HR7

Job Overview

As a Button Badge operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining badge making machinery/equipment to produce high-quality printed badge components.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operating and monitoring button badge equipment
2. Setting up machines so they are ready to use
3. Following established procedures
4. Maintaining a safe work environment including carrying out safety checks on machinery
5. Training new button badge operatives when required.
6. Maintaining paperwork as necessary for the operation of the button badge department.

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

The Button Badge Operative should be capable of adapting to changes in processes and be open to innovation and continuous improvement. They should have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to a team environment and have the ability to handle the pressures and demands of a fast-paced production environment.
