Production Operatives - NON FOOD

Thrive Shepton are recruiting for Temp to Perm Production Operatives on behalf of our client in Wells, Somerset. To assist with production, filling and packaging of products to a high standard.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating machinery - filling machine and labelling machines
• Filling, lidding, labelling & packing bottles and jars
• Packing customer orders for dispatch
• Ensuring a high quality standard is always met
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices
• Keeping the production area clean & tidy
• Ensure job sheets and packing lists are complete at end of production run.
• Follow all company policies and management systems
• Ensure you follow all health and safety rules
• Working on your own or as part of a team

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• A positive and flexible can do attitude
• Ability to work as part of a larger team or on own initiative (if required)
• Punctual and adaptable
• Highly Motivated
• Good communication skills
• Basic level of numeracy and literacy
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Time keeping
• Reliable

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) & Friday (Apply online only) (flexibility required in busier periods)

Pay Rate:

• £12.50 per hour
• Once permanent/ fully trained pay will increase

This role could lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
