Job description

Production Operative

Monday to Friday - 07:30am - 16:15pm

£12.30 per hour

Driffield Area

Our valued client is a 32-year-old family owned and run chilled food manufacturer and processor based in Driffield, East Yorkshire. They process and manufacture cheese, cooked meats, and sandwich fillers for both retail, delicatessen and food services. They can offer direct to store delivery along with national delivery service. All products arrive in their own fleet of refrigerated vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assembling food products into packaging, labelling and packing the product.
  • Continuously checking the quality of products on the line.
  • Following required work instructions and procedures.
  • Being conscientious, enthusiastic and willing to meet deadlines.
  • Working on your own initiative and well in a team.
  • Being proactive with a desire and attitude to learn and develop.
  • Having an excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and working to a high standard.
  • Experience in the industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Always complying with Food Safety and Quality procedures.
