Pro-Found Recruitment are on look out for 2 Production Operatives for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.

Production Operative Benefits:

• Rotating shifts - Days 6am to 2pm, Afternoons 2pm to 10pm and Nights 10pm to 6am - these shifts rotate each week
• Hours: 39 hours per week paid weekly
• Start date: Tuesday 22nd April 2025 - starting on days 6am to 2pm for the first week
• Pay Rates: £15.38 for days and afternoons & £16.36 for nights
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks based on performance, attendance and client requirement
• Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72

Production Operative Duties:

• Working on line automation
• Operating and loading machinery
• Operating saws
• Quality checking of materials and finished products
• Packing and taping items
• Working with wood and heavy worktops
• Following instructions
• General housekeeping
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Minimum daily requirements (production targets)

Production Operative Criteria:

• Previous assembly/production/manufacturing experience essential
• CNC or machine operating experience preferred
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Hardworking, reliable and punctual
• Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills

Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day-to-day duties.
