Production Operative

Production Operator – Perry Barr, Birmingham

Baltic Recruitment are proud to be working with a global automotive technology company supplying systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial technology based in Birmingham. Responsible for all aspects of production within the facility. It is crucial products are made to the right quality first time and on time.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To be involved in all aspects of production and testing.
2. Understand and work to the Standard Operating Processes.
3. Responsible for good housekeeping of the workplace.
4. Carrying out necessary equipment changes.
5. Ensuring relevant documentation is completed.
6. Ensuring all Health, Safety and Environmental factors are considered at all times.
7. Understand and work to the concept of 11 Colours.
8. Understand the importance of and work to any Quality Alerts on the line.
9. Continuously look and communicate how procedures and processes can be improved.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of basic English and Mathematics.
2. Previous experience of working in an automotive / manufacturing environment.
3. Be a good team player with interpersonal skills and the ability to make an impact at all levels.
4. Be self-motivated and able to work with minimum of supervision.
5. Have high personal quality standards, orderly and methodical approach to work.
6. Must be able to keep calm, constructive and disciplined when under pressure.
7. Demonstrate innovative ideas and problem solving.
8. Good time management and organisational skills.
9. Have a basic knowledge of electronic components, numerical and analytical skills.
10. Have enthusiasm and determination to achieve results and ensure queries are resolved.

Working Mon – Fri: 06:00-13:30 & 13:30 – 21:00 (37.5 hours).
