Production Operative

PACKING OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with a highly prestigious food manufacturer in Hull (HU3), we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Packing Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Employer of Choice that offers career progression, training opportunities, and great pay (£12.21/hr).

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday. Various hours available.

Typical shift times are 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am / 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am / 6am-10am / 6pm-10am.

Start date / Duration

Packing Operative positions will commence with immediate effect; however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is ongoing, long-term work and will lead to a permanent position.

Job description

Packing Operatives are responsible for:

1. Production line work.
2. Packing and loading produce.
3. General production line work.
4. Hygiene duties.
5. General housekeeping duties.

The successful candidate:

1. No previous experience required as full training is provided.
2. Able to work full-time hours Monday to Friday.
3. Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.
4. Reliable with good timekeeping.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
6. Previous experience as a Production operative or Manufacturing operative would be advantageous, not essential.
