Production Operatives Wanted In MINWORTH!

Logistics People are looking for Production Operatives/Factory Operatives/Factory Worker/Line Operative/Production Team Member/Production Line Operative to join our team.

Location: Minworth, Integrated Packing Services (IPS)

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 07:30 - 15:30 Shifts Available

Pay rate: £12.25 P/hr

Position: Production Operative

As a Production Operative for Logistics People your role will consist of various duties including but not limited to:

This position involves the assembly, inspection, packaging, and handling of products according to company standards and procedures. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced factory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pack and inspect various food and non-food related products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Monitor the production process and perform routine checks to identify any issues or defects.
  • Load and unload product materials and finished products from the production line.
  • Identify and report defective products or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as per Food Hygiene Regulations.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or hazardous conditions to the supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of production processes and machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Basic math and English understanding.

Other Requirements:

  • This role will include and require you to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Lifting and moving objects up to 12kg.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
