Production Operative

Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for 3 production operatives to join our client based in Swindon.

Previous experience in operating machines and manufacturing essential to apply.

Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 for first 12 weeks with pay 11.86. After 12 weeks, Monday to Friday rotating shift 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 with pay 12.25 plus shift allowance.

There will be a pay review in April.

Main duties:

1. Operating machinery in a safe manner
2. Preparing components for further processing
3. Reporting equipment faults
4. Maintaining a clean working environment
5. Following Operating Procedures

Right candidate:

1. Proven previous machining or manufacturing experience
2. Strong communication skills, written and verbal
3. Ability to work towards KPIs in a safe manner
4. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
5. Good practical skills
