Production Operative

Do you have previous Production Operative experience in a Manufacturing setting or are you looking to begin a career within Manufacturing?

We are looking for multiple Production Operatives to join our leading manufacturing client based on the outskirts of St Ives. You will be trained across multiple departments including machine operating, assembling, and quality checking. You must be physically fit for the position due to the nature of the products being produced.

Start: ASAP
Location: Outskirts of St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £11.75 per hour (45 hour paid working week)
Hours: 7am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday with 2 x paid 15-minute breaks every day
Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Duties:

1. Lifting of heavy products across the factory to various stations
2. Use of CNC Machines
3. Use of hand tools for fitting and fixing finished products together
4. Use of Power Coating machine
5. Final inspection of goods
6. Quality Control
7. Packing orders

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Be a good team player
2. Previous experience within Manufacturing desirable
3. Forward thinking
4. Able to take own initiative
5. Fast paced to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining our professional standard
6. Have a keen eye for detail
7. Be punctual
