An established industry player is seeking an Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team. Job description

Genesis is looking for an Installation Engineer, they will install hydraulic levelling systems to the product within the set KPI s and provide a comprehensive handover to the customer.

You will be working in a vehicle service centre; customers will be bringing in their campervan/motorhomes to have the product installed on them

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety requirements
  • Provide an excellent customer service to Service Centre customers
  • Follow the Standard Operating Procedures to install the appropriate levelling system
  • Test & commission levelling systems
  • Seek support when necessary to troubleshoot should issues arise with the installation
  • Liaise with customer service staff to advise of issues/delays with the installation
  • Provide a comprehensive handover to customers, ensuring customers are aware how to fully utilize the product
  • Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the installation
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of AL-KO products & systems, new and existing.
  • When necessary, explain new features and suggest upgrades to customers
  • Participate in ongoing training to keep up to date with the latest developments in the industry
  • Carryout and/or support with projects
  • Follow all necessary safety requirements
  • Any additional duties as and when required.

  • Mechanical & electrical awareness, ideally having previous experience installing levelling systems
  • Proven ability to work independently and to deadlines
