Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Runcorn – WA7 4UY

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time – Working on a 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm Shift

Role Description

  • Responsible for the handling of materials around site – milling, bagging, transport and loading of finished and raw materials
  • Adherence to local and government legislation and LKAB company policy on health and safety
  • Ensure all tasks are sufficiently risk assessed and safe systems of work developed and suitable control measures implemented
  • Ensures adherence to and compliance with, both company standards and those of the 9001, 14001 and 45001 company accreditations
  • Responsible for the day to day operation of equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of that works.
  • Operate the plant to deliver optimum productivity, efficiency, quality and performance to required standards.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and routine inspections are carried out across the area of responsibility
  • Responsible for the efficient execution of orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Have responsibility for the recording and management of stock
  • Play active role in OEE to improve efficiency within the business unit and the wider company.
  • Closely monitors quality of raw materials and finished products and all testing Involvement within the Operational Efficiency programme
  • Reports all damage and monitors waste tipped and reports data to Works Supervisor
  • Undertake reasonable tasks as allocated by the company in addition to those defined

Desirables:

  • Fork Lift Truck Licence
  • Loading shovel Licence
