Job description

Job title: Production Operative

Location: Faversham - must drive due to location

Pay rate: £12.90 (PLUS QUARTERLY BONUS ONCE GONE PERMANENT)

Contract: Temporary to permanent after successful trial period

Hours: 34 hours week (8:00am-4:30pm Mon to Thurs, 8:00am-12:00pm Friday)

Our client, who are specialists in their field, are looking for Assembly Technicians to join their team. They design, develop and manufacture products for leading companies such as Formula 1 Teams, Xerox, US Navy, British Gas, Dyson, NASA and many other businesses and universities worldwide, notably in the health sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Part of the production team, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing precision parts, using handheld tools, working to specific designs whilst adhering to high quality control standards.

Experience and skills required for this position:

  1. Good eye for detail.
  2. Previous experience in engineering, assembly, production, soldering or use of hand-held tools is required.
  3. Interest in building things.
  4. Due to location, you must drive.
