Production Operative

At Meridian Business Support, we are looking for Production Operatives on behalf of a client that is going through an exciting stage of growth. They are looking for multiple Production Operatives to assist them with orders within their facility.

To succeed within this role, you should have experience working in an industrial environment. There will be heavy lifting, and the role can sometimes be physically demanding. It can also be a dusty environment at times; full PPE and safety wear is provided.

In return, the company can offer a great working schedule with a 4-day working week. The days are slightly longer with a 6:45 AM start and a 5 PM finish—who wouldn't love a 3-day weekend though! These are the day shifts; there is also a night shift partner available. The company also has company-wide shutdowns and closes at certain times throughout the year, typically around term times. There are times when overtime can be discussed, which will be at the manager's discretion. The company also has a very friendly atmosphere, and company events are arranged throughout the year.

This is a Temporary to Permanent opportunity, and you will be employed by Meridian Business Support for 12 weeks. As long as everything goes well, you'll then receive a permanent contract from the client. With Meridian Business Support, you will be paid weekly, and you will also be paid weekly by the business once you have transferred to their payroll.
