Job description

A great opportunity to join an expanding team of fabricators and welders with an established Engineering firm in the Bridgend area.

Initially as a general labourer, cleaning the rig and welding sections. The successful candidate will be taught to tack weld and to use the cleaning rig, cutting, finishing and to de-burr pipes. The rest of the duties will be moving stock around and assisting wherever required on a daily basis with general work. The salary will increase as and when the successful candidate is fully trained on a section/task, and this uplift can potentially be quite quick - again depending on the candidate's ability to learn and develop in the role.

This opportunity is a great way of starting with the business from the ground level up. The successful candidate will need to have a great work ethic and a desire to progress and learn.

Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 7.30am till 4pm and Friday 7.30am till 1pm. Overtime is time and a half and double on Sundays - plenty of it.

We are looking to recruit immediately for this role and to organise interviews as soon as possible. If interested, please ensure that you have your own transport as it is an early start and cannot rely on public transport.
