Join Our Team as a Production Manufacturing Operator!

Are you ready to be part of an exciting journey in the life sciences sector? Our client, a world leader in the life science sector, is seeking a dedicated Production Manufacturing Operator to join their team in Birmingham!

Position Details:

Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £11.86
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months (potential for ongoing role)
Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Capping and labelling a wide range of liquid reagents into various types of bottles using automated equipment.
2. Printing labels and affixing them to components using both automated labelling machines and manual processes.
3. Completing written documentation, including calculations and quality checks.
4. Performing routine maintenance and calibrations on equipment under the direction of your team.
5. Collecting raw materials from cold storage and returning filled components.
6. Alerting the supervisor of equipment faults and any events that do not meet specifications.
7. Some lifting of up to 10kg will be required.

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, food, or a related industry.
2. GCSE qualifications in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent).
3. Experience in following written quality procedures and working practices, including GMP.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in using computerised systems.
7. Flexibility to accommodate the needs of the organisation, including the possibility of working outside regular hours.
