About Your Role
Manage all aspects of site operations to prevent accidents, incidents and risks to health as far as reasonably practicable.
Management of the site in accordance with SHE legislative requirements, company policies, all site planning, licence conditions, and in accordance with all other applicable legislation. Assessment and control of risks on sites to ensure legal compliance.
Ensure that all plant and equipment at the site is inspected and maintained to a good standard including a high level of housekeeping.
Assist in ensuring projects are managed safely, efficiently and within budget constraints within the time scope agreed.
Control costs and monitor site production in line with budgetary goals. Report exceptional and unforeseen costs to the Operations Manager. Generate, monitor and deliver cost improvement initiatives using agreed KPIs.
Ensure management of site operations to minimize environmental impacts and assist with performance reviews.
Manage site staff, closely manage staff performance, including PDR and ensure appropriate training. Handle personnel issues in accordance with company policies.
Engage with customers both face to face and over the phone, maintaining confidentiality and building professional relationships. Ensure transport allocation meets customer demand and maximizes utilization and profit.
Ensure a good knowledge of all company procedures, development of new procedures as required, enforce company procedures whilst maintaining operational standards on site.
