The Basics:

Role: Production Manager - Machining and Fabrication.

Position: Permanent

Location: Caerphilly

Salary: up to £55000

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 1pm

Holidays and Benefits: 35 days holiday, Pension up to 6% paid by employer, free onsite parking, uniform, Life insurance.

Overview:

Working for a large machining and fabrication business who have sites across the UK and EU we now require a Production Manager to join the business. Working closely with the Operations Manager you will be tasked to monitor performance and drive productivity of the department, implementing KPI's and attending production meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

The ideal candidate / Production Manager - Machining may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served engineering apprenticeship
  • Must have previous experience in a machining and/or fabrication environment.
  • A strong communicator with excellent people management skills
  • Previous experience leading a team and attending production performance meetings

Commutable from: Caerphilly, Cardiff, Newport, Blackwood and surrounding areas.
