Production Manager

Production Manager - Night Shift - On Site - Dungannon, Co Tyrone

We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations on Night Shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

As Production Manager, you will lead a team of 20 - 30 production operatives, supervisors, and team leaders in a modern facility to ensure continuous and efficient operations in accordance with production, health and safety, quality, and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the area and production schedules.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programmes.
• Drive delivery of operational KPIs.
• Ensure that all team members are managed consistently and fairly, taking action on poor performance, and encouraging and recognizing good performance.
• Ensure team members are trained correctly.
• Encourage compliance with all systems, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for hygiene, cleanliness, food safety, and employee/visitor safety.
• Ensure factory is ready for visits/audits at any time.
• Work towards BRC accreditation each year.
• Ensure correct maintenance of equipment to reduce spending on equipment and parts.
• Provide hands-on shop floor assistance as required.

Criteria

• People management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience within a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of relevant health & safety standards.
