Mon - Friday - Day Based role.

My client is a fast-growing BRC accredited Food manufacturer who is now seeking a Production Manager in a newly created position to join their management team. This is a Monday to Friday Day based role. Pivotal to the role is an excellent understanding of production in a fast-paced environment. As a member of the senior management team, the Production Manager is responsible for the planning & day-to-day production within the factory to obtain maximum efficiency, production, quality service, and profitability for the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark in a role and offers longer-term development opportunities as the company grows.

Production Manager Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning of Daily and weekly / Seasonal Production
2. Driving Continuous Improvement - Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the production and warehouse area.
3. Ensuring site KPIs are achieved.
4. Promote food safety and quality standards in everything they do as a priority.
5. Ensure the department is audit compliant at all times.
6. Promoting and engaging in cross-departmental teamwork.

Production Manager Experience/Skills Required:

1. Experience working within a Food/Drink/FMCG Manufacturing environment.
2. Must be organised and happy to work under pressure.
3. Must have an understanding or working within a BRC led environment.
4. Must have previous Managerial/Supervisory experience.
5. Must enjoy being hands-on and enjoy training and developing people.
6. Excellent people skills including coaching and developing staff.
7. H&S knowledge and experience.
8. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Techniques.

Production Manager Salary and Benefits:
Up to GBP45,000 DOE
