Production Manager
  • Annual Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
  • Location: Stroud
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee operations in a specialised manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with solid production management skills and good people skills, ready to lead a dedicated team. The successful candidate will manage the production process from start to finish, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency and quality from the initial stages to the final product.
  • Manage a team of approximately 25 staff, including four team leaders with significant industry experience.
  • Engage with the team to gain their buy-in, making the role both challenging and rewarding.
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
  • Maintain high standards of production management, ensuring all machines and processes operate efficiently.
  • Adapt to a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, to meet production targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in production management, preferably in a specialised manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Ability to handle multiple shifts, including double days and night shifts.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
