Salary: Up to £45,000

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (40 Hours)

Location: Preston

Skills, Experience, and Education Required:

• Proven experience as Production Manager.
• Experience with medical devices.
• Excellent knowledge of production and quality control principles.
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel and other MS Office 365 software.
• Good at math and statistics.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

As a Production Manager, you will need to:

• Coordinate production workflow for multiple products.
• Oversee manufacturing and production processes.
• Create and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production schedules.
• Monitor orders to ensure they finish on time and within budget.
• Procure factory production equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance.
• Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
• Maintain hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself.
• Implement all the company’s procedures and policies.
• Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management.
• Monitor productivity rates, standards, and quality control.
• Train and coach the production team.
• Produce production reports through the collection of data.
• Liaise with other departments and supervise staff members.
• Implement safety, health, environment, and quality requirements.
• Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
• Schedule shifts according to production needs.
• Develop the systems and role to enable the rapid growth of the production output.
