Production Manager

Our client is a market leading international organisation with a considerable manufacturing footprint in the North East, which has seen sizable investment over a number of years. They are currently looking to strengthen their operations team with an experienced Production Manager.

Responsible for leading operations across a dedicated manufacturing department, with specific focus on health and safety, increasing efficiency, reducing cost and the cost of poor quality, delivering productivity and ensuring on-time delivery of quality products to their customers. The role will provide inspiring leadership to a multi-shift production team to ensure customer requirements are fully satisfied whilst operating within budgeted expenditure levels.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead operations across a dedicated manufacturing department.
2. Focus on health and safety, increasing efficiency, and reducing costs.
3. Deliver productivity and ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
4. Provide leadership to a multi-shift production team.

Qualifications:

1. Demonstrable experience in a fast-moving, highly technical manufacturing environment.
2. Recognised technical, operations or supply chain qualification.
3. Self-starter with an inspiring leadership style.
4. Drive for improvement in a safety-first environment.
