Production Manager - Key Responsibilities

1. Accountable for leading HSE compliance, including overall area specific Zero Harm Boards and Risk Reduction activities.
2. Accountable for Zero Defects Programs, including process control, standard work, and reduced variation for the plant.
3. Accountable for leading, motivating, and engaging with Production Shift Managers, Production Team Leaders & Production Operators through effective communication, e.g., engagement, team briefings, regular interaction on the shop floor, involvement in Zero Harm and Zero Defects teams.
4. Will lead the team in developing and implementing effective systems for improving internal and external quality, cost improvements, and on-time delivery to customer requirements.
5. Responsible for managing the performance of direct reports and other team members, including annual appraisal, performance management, and identifying development opportunities.
6. Will work with Human Resources on people management issues including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance-related issues.

1. Possess a strong background in heavy manufacturing.
2. Strong leadership skills, comfortable dealing with all levels of a business.
3. Experienced in owning and delivering continuous improvement projects.
4. Possess experience managing budgets.
