THE ROLE
As Production Manager you will be directly responsible for all European footwear, accessories & India leather accessories and will be expected to oversee & ensure that they are manufactured & delivered in line with the critical path at the correct margin & the highest quality. You will report into the Production Director.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- You will work with Merchandising to ensure that the critical path is accurate and allows on time delivery of product
- Liaise with the Design departments & assist in tracking samples prior to each buy
- Ensure that a style & price list is created, published & distributed prior to each buy detailing the styles due to be shown at the buy, at least first prices, minimums & lead times
- Attend the buy handover and once the buy has been handed over oversee the negotiation & placing of orders in line with the critical path ensuring that the weighted margin is achieved & that shipment dates in line with the critical path are agreed
- Liaise with the technical department to ensure that they have visibility of what has been bought & assist in prioritising comments being issued
- Liaise with all relevant departments to ensure that the All Saints product is manufactured to the highest quality & in line with the critical path
- Ensure that all orders are collected by the agreed freight forwarder on the agreed shipment dates with the relevant customs documentation and that they ship to the correct destination in the most cost effective manner the critical path will allow
- Liaise closely with Merchandising to ensure that all orders are placed as & when requested and that reorders are placed promptly
- Liaise with the relevant departments to ensure that suppliers have all that they require to manufacture the orders
- Be responsible for the on time delivery against specific launch dates
- As & when reasonable travel to meet suppliers

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?
- Have proven management experience
- Have extensive experience of working on European footwear, accessories & India leather accessories
- Proven experience of successfully managing & working to a critical path
- Strong negotiation & influencing skills with experience of working with open costings
- Excellent communication skills
- Full understanding of the product cycle & its role within a rapidly expanding business
- Full understanding of a critical path & the importance of adhering to deadlines set by the critical path
- The ability to work well under pressure & meet deadlines set
- Extensive knowledge of Fastreact, Excel, Word & Outlook
