Production Manager

Based out of Leeds, it is accessible from surrounding towns and cities including Huddersfield, Bradford, Wakefield, Barnsley, and York.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager

1. Manage and oversee all manufacturing and production processes, ensuring they are all completed on time.
2. Ensure all health and safety policies are followed by all members of the team.
3. Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of 10 engineers.
4. Organise maintenance and upkeep of production equipment within the department.
5. Develop and implement best practices to improve productivity and maintain high-quality standards.
6. Regularly communicate with senior management and provide them with production updates.
7. Identify and highlight opportunities to increase productivity rates.

Working Hours of the Production Manager

1. Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 16:00
2. Friday: 07:00 to 13:30

Minimum Skills/Experience Required

1. Previous experience working with a sheet metal fabrication background at senior level.
2. Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and improve the team.
3. Ability to implement structured problem-solving techniques and provide solutions.
4. Proven track record of meeting production targets and delivering high-quality results.

In Return, the Production Manager Will Receive

1. £45,000-£50,000 per annum
2. 28 days holidays per annum
3. Early finish on Friday
4. Company pension scheme
5. Private health care
