Job Description

Production/Engineering Manager

Location: Leicester
Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: £50,000 Dependent on Experience

We are looking for a motivated Production Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of production within their operation.

Role Description

Production Planning and Scheduling: Developing and implementing production schedules to meet company targets and customer demands.
Team Management: Overseeing and coordinating the activities of the production team to ensure efficient operations.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Resource Management: Managing resources, including raw materials and equipment, to optimize production efficiency.
Health and Safety Compliance: Implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Key Qualities

This is a hands-on position, not office-based.
Strong management and leadership qualities.
Must have at least 10 years of automotive experience, preferably in the high-performance/supercar market.
Hands-on engineering and manufacturing experience.
Conversant with computer diagnostics.
Knowledge of vehicle electrics.
Adaptable and practical problem-solving skills.
Able to engage with clients and potential customers.
Able to source and manage the supply chain.
Clean driver's license.
Conversant with Health and Safety regulations.
