Production Engineer

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Production Engineer to join this growing team. Your main responsibilities as a Production Engineer will be to play an essential part in supporting the manufacturing, testing, and lifecycle management of cutting-edge radar systems and wide-area surveillance. The Production Engineer will work closely with experienced engineers and external manufacturing partners to ensure the highest standards of product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineer:

• Maintain accurate product specifications, test records, and build documentation in the Product Lifecycle
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and component suppliers
• Assist with component sourcing and managing potential supply chains
• Support in-hour radar testing and collaborate closely with design engineers to troubleshoot technical challenges
• Contribute to electronic and mechanical tasks when needed

Key Requirements of the Production Engineer:

• Understanding of electronic engineering processes
• Familiarity with technical drawings (specifications, drawings)
• Experience with PLM systems
• Full UK driving licence
