Production Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Engineer to join our team and drive continuous improvement in our production processes. Are you looking for your next challenge? This newly created position at our Shefford site offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Operations Management to review efficiencies and eliminate waste, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet clearly defined standards. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing production and operational processes and practices. This includes supporting the tendering process for new equipment and working on projects aimed at improving safety, quality, and reducing operating costs. In this role, you will lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solving efforts, and process enhancement activities. You will also implement lean manufacturing principles to optimise operational efficiencies and drive sustainable improvements across our production environment.
As a Production Engineer at ACO, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, implementing automation solutions, and driving improvements through data analysis and KPI monitoring. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on involvement to ensure optimal production performance. To be successful in this role you should be comfortable working in an office setting and be happy to be hands-on in the production environment as this flexibility will aid implementing solutions effectively.
