Job description

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic live events team, with excellent career growth potential!

THE COMPANY

This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in live event production. Our client is a well-established company that delivers high-quality technical solutions for live events, offering a hands-on learning environment with great prospects for development.

Starting in the warehouse and office, you’ll gain valuable insight into the company’s operations, equipment, and culture. With the right attitude and ambition, you’ll quickly progress into event planning and live event support, working closely with the project management team.

THE ROLE

As a Production Coordinator, you will play a key role in both warehouse operations and live event support. Responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing technical specifications for events
  2. Ensuring equipment is properly maintained, packed, and dispatched to a high standard
  3. Managing stock, checking for shortages or damages
  4. Supporting both warehouse and office operations
  5. Assisting the project management team with event planning
  6. Conducting periodic stock checks, equipment maintenance, and testing
  7. Driving company vans as needed
  8. Providing on-site support during live events
  9. Operating technical equipment following training
  10. Shadowing and assisting project managers on-site

THE CANDIDATE

This role is ideal for someone eager to build a career in live event production. While prior experience is not required, a basic understanding of event lighting, audio, and video systems would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  2. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  3. The ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and multitask
  4. A team-focused approach with a proactive mindset
  5. Competency in standard office-based IT systems
  6. A full, clean driving licence (due to insurance requirements, applicants must be 21 or over)

Please note: This role includes occasional weekend work, with options for time in lieu or overtime.

This is an incredible chance to develop your skills in a hands-on environment, gain experience in the events industry, and work towards a long-term career in production.

Live specialises in all disciplines (and at all levels) across events, experiential and exhibitions.
