About the Role

As a Production Controller, you’ll play a critical role in planning, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of our clients production process to meet customer demands. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team and make a tangible impact on production efficiency, cost management, and project success. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams in planning, purchasing, and logistics to ensure seamless operations and high standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning: Develop, implement, and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and order backlogs.
2. Workflow Coordination: Ensure resources, materials, and manpower are optimally allocated to meet production targets while maintaining product quality and reducing downtime.
3. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse KPIs, such as cycle time, production output, and cost efficiency, to ensure alignment with company goals.
4. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements in production processes and workflows, reducing waste and improving cost-effectiveness.
5. Quality Control Support: Collaborate closely with quality control teams to enforce production standards and meet client specifications.
6. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing and logistics to ensure that materials and resources are available as needed for uninterrupted production.

What We’re Looking For

1. Experience: Proven background as a Production Controller, Production Planner, or a similar role within a manufacturing, automotive or surface finishing environment.
2. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of production planning and control, with the ability to analyse data and implement effective strategies. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
3. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency and quality.
4. Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing production needs.
5. Communication Skills: Strong communicator who can collaborate with diverse teams and influence positive change.
