Production Chemist - 18 month FTC

Location: Guildford, UK
Work Schedule: Shift Work (8-hour shifts - midnight start)
Eligibility: Must have full right to work in the UK on a Permanent basis

About the Role:

As a Production Chemist in a GMP-certified facility, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. Your expertise will ensure that operations meet the rigorous standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


What You'll Do:
  1. Operate and maintain production equipment according to GMP guidelines.
  2. Monitor production processes and perform quality checks to ensure compliance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency.
  4. Document and report on production activities and outcomes.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production.

Qualifications:
  1. Degree in a life science subject (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology).
  2. Previous experience in any production/ manufacturing setting is essential.
  3. GMP understanding beneficial but not essential.
  4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  5. Flexibility to work night shifts.
  6. Due to the location and shift times, it would be best to have your own vehicle.
