Job description

HR GO are looking to recruit several General Production Assistants to work in a Nursery Centre/distribution. Previous garden/agricultural experience not required but would be helpful.


The successful candidates will be working in the production / greenhouse areas. Reporting to the Garden Centre Supervisor your main responsibilities will be around the day-to-day workings of a popular nursery centre.


You will be expected to work independently to identify and carry out essential daily tasks, alongside ongoing maintenance and plant care works. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential.


  1. Perform regular production maintenance tasks including potting, weeding, and planting.
  2. Ensure the health and vitality of plants through proper care and attention.
  3. Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  4. Work collaboratively within a team to meet project deadlines and company standards.

Applicants must expect a reasonable amount of manual handling as an essential part of this job role.


Day shift between 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Free parking on site. This will be temporary work but can become regular depending on work volumes.
