Production and Engineering Manager

Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 DOE

Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a talented and motivated Production and Engineering Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and optimising production operations to ensure the achievement of production goals and maintain high-quality standards. If you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage production schedules to meet delivery timelines and optimise resources.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure materials availability.
  • Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with regulations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production output, efficiency, and cost.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of production or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management capacity is required.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
