Product Sorter

To support our lab operations and operators as they optimise the existing operation and our process engineers as they develop innovative material recovery systems.

Required

To carry out laboratory procedures as described in standard operating procedures in a safe and professional manner in order to produce results to the required quality. These procedures will include:

1. Accurate hand sorting of product mixtures
2. Weighing of samples
3. Record all tests results diligently
4. Work with the Laboratory Supervisor, Shift Leaders and other colleagues in order to ensure that individual and company performance targets are met
5. Prepare laboratory equipment for use by others and yourself
6. Carry out instructions as laid out in the standard operating procedures using appropriate PPE as specified
7. Be aware of all safety requirements for the working area and abide by all safety rules and regulations
8. Ensure that all working areas are always safe and clean
9. Liaise continuously with other team members to resolve any difficulties encountered in the processing
10. Receive and record incoming goods
11. Maintain and look after laboratory equipment
12. Manage time effectively
13. Attend daily meetings when required to report on sample quality
14. Any other additional duties as required
