We are seeking a Product Owner to organise, prioritise, and assess work for our established client based in Exeter. Working as part of their development team, you will play a key role in gathering feature requests/requirements, scheduling releases, and coordinating sprints. This position is crucial for rolling out products that align with our client's growth and transformation plans. Proven Product Owner/Product Manager experience within Facilities Management, Construction, Housing, Local government and/or NHS would be an advantage.

Day-to-day of the role:

1. Incorporate feature requests into the product roadmap.
2. Review and prioritise the backlog to align with strategic goals.
3. Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
4. Set goals for sprints and plan releases and upgrades.
5. Write acceptance tests and follow the progress of work, addressing production issues during sprints.
6. Analyse end-user preferences and requests to guide product improvements.
7. Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback.
8. Keep track of industry trends to maintain competitive edge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Previous work experience as a product owner/manager (ideally at least 1-2 years).
2. Strong IT literacy and excellent communication skills.
3. Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate delivery dates.
4. Experience in tracking and monitoring development work.
5. Skilled in maintaining financial controls and forecasting development expenditure.
6. Be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
