Job Title: Product Owner - High-Performance Computing (HPC)
Contract: £450 - £500 p/d - Outside IR35

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead the development and management of High-Performance Computing (HPC) tools and applications. The Product Owner is crucial for driving the virtual engineering strategy within the business, encompassing Product Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, and more. A strong technical background in HPC is required, with experience in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) being desirable for this role.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Owner:

• Lead the management and development of HPC applications and tools.
• Develop and maintain the architecture, technology roadmap, and vision for HPC tools (Pre, Solve, and Post).
• Strong understanding of HPC technical architecture, including CAE applications, storage, cloud, and virtualization - AWS experience preferred.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and validation of HPC applications and tools.
• Manage technical expertise and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and strategic vendors.
• Oversee risk management, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and business continuity.
• Drive innovation in digital products to solve business problems - managing the transition of digital products from development to BAU.
• Ability to frame and solve complex business problems - ensuring product delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Oversee the alignment of supply and demand for HPC and CAE products.
• Experience with agile methodologies is an advantage.
• Hybrid working - will consider remote for the perfect candidate.
