Product Owner
Ronald James Group
This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Owner with iGaming experience to join a company at an exciting point in its journey and help shape the future of its platform.
As a Product Owner, you will work closely with their development teams to ensure seamless management of the product backlog. You will gain expert knowledge of our products and technology and leverage your experience to make key decisions on work prioritisation and new feature development.
What you'll be doing:
Managing the product backlog: Collaborating with a Scrum team to ensure alignment as the backlog changes. Creating and communicating all backlog items. Ensuring all tickets created are of the highest quality and clarity.
Prioritisation: Considering the needs and objectives of all stakeholders and customers, balancing scope, budget, and time to prioritise projects.
Scrum participation: Playing a key role in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Working closely with developers to redefine the product backlog items.
Stakeholder management: Gaining buy-in from stakeholders on all decisions, and translating requirements into clear instructions (user stories) for developers.
Feedback evaluation: Adapting our product offering and workflows based on feedback from stakeholders and customers. Evaluating product progress through each iteration.
Communicating the vision: Aligning the vision with business objectives. Owning and sharing the product roadmap.
Some of the requirements:
Experience in a Product Owner role within the iGaming industry.
Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies and product management tools (we use JIRA).
A proactive attitude with a strong desire to identify improvements and take ownership of problems.
The ability to context switch and be able to take changing priorities in your stride.
A high level of emotional intelligence, being able to understand the needs of stakeholders at all stages of the product life cycle.
Experience of working closely with software developers and the ability to translate customer requirements into well-defined user stories.
