About Us:
We are working with a key player within the Energy space looking to add to its market leading Product team.

Role Overview:
As the Product Owner, you will take charge of our energy product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive development and ensure we meet our ambitious business goals. You’ll leverage your expertise in the energy supplier domain to understand our customers' needs and ensure that our product aligns with regulatory standards and market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and manage the product roadmap and backlog in line with company strategy and objectives.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketing, to bring new products and features to market.
3. Conduct customer research to understand pain points, gathering feedback to enhance product design and usability.
4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and stay updated on relevant market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
5. Act as the product’s subject matter expert within the company, providing guidance on energy supplier-specific features and processes.
6. Develop user stories, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog to maximize value.
7. Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, set expectations, and align product direction with business goals.
8. Continuously monitor product performance and adjust priorities based on data-driven insights.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within an energy supplier or related industry.
2. Strong understanding of the energy market, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable deliverables.
4. Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
5. Strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
6. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Benefits:

1. Competitive salary of GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
