Job summary

In Market Data Services, we are dedicated to creating client-centric products that empower our firm to navigate, discover, and optimize market data services at scale.

As a Product Manager in this team, you will be at the forefront of designing and building innovative products and solutions. You will take ownership of essential Market Data products, including Real Time Data and Risk and Control products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients. By actively seeking stakeholder feedback, you will shape the product vision and strategy, driving the successful delivery and measurement of new product features. Your collaboration with clients, business analysts, engineering, and cross-functional teams will be crucial in developing new products, enhancing existing offerings, and expanding our market data services portfolio.

Job responsibilities

1. Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the overall platform strategy.
2. Clearly communicate product vision and development status by setting, tracking, and reviewing metrics for desired product outcomes.
3. Develop user stories and requirements that will lead to the delivery of new products, new product features, and existing product improvements that will be used by our stakeholders.
4. Effectively manage the product roadmap, specifications, prioritization, and backlog by continually addressing business needs based on customer demand through an agile process.
5. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to manage the product pipeline/backlog to effectively plan technology sprint cycles, in line with the product roadmap.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand pain points and goals.
7. Perform market research and competitive analysis as well as analyze technological trends to identify new opportunities and product ideas.
8. Own your product's documentation to educate stakeholders and promote product adoption.
9. Utilize data analytics to inform product decisions and assess success.
10. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Engineering, Business Management, Data Science, and the Chief Data Office.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

1. Demonstrable experience of product development within Financial Services, Consulting, or Technology sectors.
2. Experience in Market Data services, with a proven track record of product management and development.
3. Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner with a user-centric mindset.
4. Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and build and foster strong relationships.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to navigate ambiguity and derive data-driven insights.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to unexpected changes.
9. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with tools like Tableau and Python.
10. Experience with agile practices and tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

1. Knowledge of the product development life cycle.
2. Experience in the Market Data industry is highly preferred.
3. Familiarity with financial products, vendors, and regulations.
4. Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models is preferred.
