What We Need

As a Product Manager In-Person Payments at Paynt, you will oversee the development, enhancement, and management of our payment terminal portfolio and its supporting software applications. Your primary mission is to drive innovation by creating features that improve transaction efficiency, enhance the user experience, and ensure payment reliability for merchants and their customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Craft a compelling vision for Paynt’s payment terminals, payment application, and tipping product set ensuring alignment with evolving market needs and customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for future innovation and product development.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to define our POS product set to increase our market share.
  • Work closely with the product owner and business analyst to prioritize product features based on customer feedback, market trends, and business impact.
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring a streamlined and efficient development process.
  • Conduct product discovery and rapid prototyping to validate assumptions and minimize risks.
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, marketing, customer support) and external partners (clients, financial institutions, and payment networks like VISA and Mastercard).
  • Translate customer requirements into clear and actionable product solutions.
  • Stay informed on the latest payment industry advancements, ensuring Paynt remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing our payment terminals with emerging technologies.
  • Oversee internal and external testing processes to maintain product quality.
  • Ensure all products meet regulatory and certification standards in the payment industry.
  • Continuously monitor product performance and user satisfaction, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive iterative enhancements that improve the overall experience.

Your Profile

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager within the payments or POS industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive results.
  • Passion for UX/UI design, with a meticulous approach to ensuring high-quality user interfaces.
  • Customer-centric mindset, ensuring our solutions are intuitive and efficient.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) for effective collaboration with international partners and payment networks.
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to translate customer needs into actionable product improvements.
