About the Job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

On the Google Photos Gallery team, you will be responsible for the main Photos grid, the most popular surface of the app. Hundreds of millions of users visit this surface daily, to consume, share, edit, delete, favorite, and more. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires a deep understanding of user behaviors, a passion for photography and visual storytelling, and a strong product sense. You will lead a team of engineers, designers, researchers, and partner with cross-functional teams to define the future of how people interact with their memories.

If you're passionate about shaping the future of how people interact with their photos and videos, and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, join us and help billions of users relive their most cherished moments.

Responsibilities
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for the Google Photos Gallery, ensuring alignment with the overall Google Photos outlook.
  • Understand user needs and behaviors through user research, data analysis, and market trends.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve the user experience, increase engagement, and drive growth.
  • Define and launch new features and improvements to the Gallery, from ideation to execution and launch.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, research, marketing, and legal to bring the outlook to life. Monitor and analyze key metrics to track the performance of the Gallery and identify areas for optimization.
