As the Product Manager - Digital & Controls for Siemens Energy's Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), you will experience that every day is not the same in your multicultural team. You will be responsible with your colleagues for the product strategy and the development of outstanding power conversion systems and integrated solutions for our global BESS portfolio in support of our Siemens Energy mission to decarbonise and energise society.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop, communicate, and drive short and long-term product strategies for our BESS portfolio, crafting cases to prioritize R&D investment.
• Identify and translate customer and market needs into technical requirements for the engineering team for the implementation of our digital and controls strategy as integrated parts of our BESS and Services portfolio.
• Work with an international team of engineers to bring defined market requirements to life in our product offerings, ensuring compliance with our Product Development (PLM) process.
• Be aware of and communicate market/technology trends and needs, including competitors' analysis, and build our unique selling proposition.
• Lead make vs buy decision-making processes, and support procurement and engineering with key supplier identification and due diligence in both scenarios.
• Conduct sales enablement activities and business development activities, including participation in industry events representing Siemens Energy.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related technical field.
• Several years of professional experience in energy storage with a deep understanding of controls and digital for battery energy storage technologies and related products.
• Comprehensive understanding of BESS market dynamics, customer needs, and products currently offered in the industry.
• Ability to solve difficult technical issues and communicate results clearly.
• Independent work, combined with medium travel activity.
• Proficiency in English is required.
