Product Manager

The Role

Impact: You will be the Product person responsible for the impact and outcomes of the Security and Organisations team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our user accounts, authentication, and management as enterprise solutions. You’ll report into the Product Lead for Enterprise Scalability, and will work cross-functionally with InfoSec and Platform teams as your key collaborators.

Domain: This role will require you to deep-dive into the business logic of Prolific’s accounts and access management and you’ll bring a passion for systems thinking and architecture.

Responsibilities: You will be responsible for product managing a cross-functional stream-aligned team’s roadmap and strategy.

What you'll be doing

• You’ll bring your experiences in your Product career to bear to solve user problems and create new opportunities for users to fall in love with Prolific.
• You will be an unblocker and simplifier of complexity: colleagues will bring you problems, and emerge optimistic, with a sense of trust, insight, and clarity.
• You’ll partner productively with Product Design, User Research, Analytics, and Engineering to find ways to deliver products in a test-learn-iterate fashion.
• You’ll contribute to our great roots to help elevate Prolific’s Product Management team into a world-leading one, known for their approach to making bets and building products that customers love and which drive commercial value for our business.

What you’ll bring

• Familiarity with the industry’s prevailing Product tools, models, and methodologies.
• Experience as a confident, established Product Manager working crossfunctionally inside a squad or stream-aligned team.
• Strong systems analysis skills or business analysis skills – you should be able to draw and read business process flows and diagrams.
• An ability to read metrics and analytics and tell stories with data, and some familiarity with user research methods.
• A storyteller’s flair, a belief in ‘strong opinions weakly held’, personal accountability, and a relentless drive and can-do attitude.

Even better if you have

• Scale-up or startup experience.
• Experience in: account management, identity, authentication, authorization, roles and permissions.
• An understanding of the different needs businesses and enterprises have when it comes to their software products and contracts (B2B) vs what individual consumers expect (B2C).
• A track record of giving back to your Product community and lifting others up!
