The Role

Veeva is looking for a highly motivated individual with life science industry experience in Regulatory Operations or Regulatory Affairs to drive customer success with our Veeva Regulatory Information Management (RIM) products in Europe. This role will support software product management, specializing in Submissions, Submissions Archive and Publishing applications.

As part of the European and global Product Expert teams, your experience will play a key role in the Product organization. You will advocate the voice of the customer, using industry knowledge and experience with European/ ROW regulations to shape the product roadmap to support regulatory document management, submission planning & tracking, electronic submissions publishing (eCTD and non-eCTD), and submission archive and viewing. Product Experts represent the Product organization in customer meetings, online communities, and industry events. To realize the value of our product innovations, you will be creating valuable resources for both internal and external stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about RIM systems and processes, eager to collaborate with customers, and excited to drive their success.

What You'll Do
  • Be the product evangelist and provide subject matter expertise for the Veeva RIM products, especially focused on the Veeva Submissions, Submissions Archive and Publishing use cases and associated features.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features and roadmap direction.
  • Contribute to best practices and process recommendations within the Veeva RIM product suite.
  • Engage with customer stakeholders to communicate product roadmap and vision.
  • Provide education to Veeva RIM customers in meetings and online communities; communicating the problems we are solving, value delivered and product functionality.
  • Be the customer advocate for future product innovations. Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback, feeding these insights into roadmap strategy and release planning.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to deliver valuable content and resources for product and release communication.
  • Provide cross-functional support to internal teams, including Services, Strategy, Sales, and Product Support.
Requirements
  • 5+ years within the regulatory industry for life sciences in Regulatory Operations, Regulatory Affairs, or related area.
  • Experience in using and/or implementing RIM applications and processes including substantial experience working with document management, submission building, Submissions, Archive and Publishing, and archiving of electronic submissions.
  • Ability to understand customer business requirements and to translate them to technical product requirements, preferences, and limitations – communicated to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and software development documentation, and translate them to end users and business teams.
  • Experience in interacting with customers from business users, IT departments, and executive suite, as well as internal teams, both in-person and remote.
  • Strong analytical skills and English skills (written, verbal, and formal presentations).
  • Self-directed team player with a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
  • Based in Europe (with ability to work across time-zones).
