Product Development Technician

Workshop based, commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Ripley, Alfreton and surrounding areas

Salary: £29,000-£34,000 + Workshop Based + Days Shift Pattern, Monday to Friday (6:00am-3:30pm) + Training Opportunities + Career Progression + Holiday + Pension

This company has been established for over 15 years and has close to 70 staff, they are known by their customers as quality-driven experts and boast a low staff turnover.

The day-to-day responsibilities for this role will be to service, test, and fault find on electronic hardware products. The successful candidate will be offered training to get up to speed in the role and work on research and development projects.

The Role:

1. Testing, repair, service and refurbishment of telecoms hardware products
2. Involved in research and development projects
3. Working in the telecommunications industry
4. Workshop based, in Heanor

The Person:

1. Electronic Engineer/ Test Engineer/ Bench Technician/ PCB Technician or similar backgrounds considered
2. Recently graduated Electronic/ Electrical Engineers are encouraged to apply and will be provided training
3. Holding either Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering qualifications (e.g. Degree, HNC, HND, BTEC, NVQ, City and Guilds etc)
4. Wants to work in the Electronics industry
