Product Development Lead - Haematology

Hartmann Young is partnered with an innovative and empowering diagnostics manufacturer, seeking a Department Leader to manage and drive the development of haematology products within the Product Development & Support Team. You'll oversee product development, validation and regulatory compliance whilst ensuring project delivery meets quality and timeline expectations.

The role

• Lead and manage Haematology product development to meet customer and business needs.
• Provide scientific expertise in assay development, product validation, and regulatory approval.
• Troubleshoot technical and manufacturing challenges to enhance product performance.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with scientific advancements to drive innovation.

The person

• Degree in scientific field.
• Experience developing haematology QC tests.
• 5+ years' experience in regulated lab environments (e.g. medical devices, diagnostics).
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects.
