Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Product Development Admin to join the team of an award-winning independent home interior brand based in Bracknell, Berkshire.

About the role

As a Product Development Admin, you will support the Buying & Merchandising team with all daily tasks, keeping systems updated and information correct.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Collate data and update spreadsheets used for Monday Trade, Lessons Learnt, Signs Offs & Adhoc.
  2. Ensure lead times to customers are managed.
  3. Raise orders at container level and amend as details change.
  4. Liaise with suppliers in the Far East and Europe to chase samples, technical specs & send POs.
  5. Monitor all purchase orders - chase suppliers for updates and update systems to reflect any changes, as well as flagging to the team any issues.
  6. Update price changes on the system where needed to clear stocks.
  7. SKU setup and management.
  8. Maintain the Critical Path, ensuring all data is up to date.
  9. Conduct comp shop analysis.
  10. Build on strong relationships cross-departmentally.
  11. Work closely with all team members and provide administrative support where necessary.

About the rewards

For the role of Product Development Admin, you will be required to work 4 days in the office and 1 from home, which varies depending on your week. Benefits include:

  1. A salary of circa £26,000 per annum.

About you

To be successful for the role of Product Development Admin, you'll have the following experience, personal skills, and attributes:

  1. Educated to a degree level or equivalent qualification/experience.
  2. Good Microsoft Office skills with demonstrable ability to use Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  3. Strong numerical, analytical, and interpretive skills.
  4. Ability to initiate and build strong relationships both externally and internally.
  5. Great attention to detail & exceptionally organized.
  6. Ability to embrace the challenges of working in a small but rapidly growing company environment.
