The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic UI/UX Designer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer with a passion for property to play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our core platform. You will be instrumental in designing intuitive, engaging, and effective interfaces that directly address the needs of users navigating the complexities of the UK property investment market. As a remote-first role (within the UK), you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work around your schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate closely with product management and development to understand user needs and translate requirements into compelling design solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our web-based data platform, focusing on data visualisation and ease of navigation.
• Incorporate user feedback and insights (potentially through informal user research or usability testing) to iterate on and improve designs.
• Ensure design consistency across the platform, potentially contributing to or helping establish a design system.
• Champion a user-centred design approach, ensuring the platform is both powerful and easy to use for property professionals.
• Work independently and manage your time effectively to meet project goals within a part-time schedule.

Who We’re Looking For

• Essential: A genuine enthusiasm for property and demonstrable understanding of the UK property investment market. You should be able to understand the challenges and workflows of our target users.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and high-quality work on web applications or digital products.
• Proficiency in core UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Expertise in Figma
• Ability to create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly important for remote collaboration.
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working autonomously.
• Must be based in the UK.
