Graduate Product Design Engineer

Location: Santry, Dublin

Salary: €35k to €40k

An excellent opportunity for a Graduate Product Design Engineer to join an award-winning manufacturer and supplier of quality-approved products. Reporting to the Product Manager, you will assist with the design and re-design of new and existing products.

The Role:

• Participate in every step of the product design process including research, ideation, conceptualisation, DFMA, and prototyping.
• Create outstanding product concepts through 2D sketch work, foam modelling, 3D SolidWorks Models, and 3D printing.
• Produce 3D renders using Keyshot for presentations and marketing media.
• Provide proof of concept through prototyping (3D print or CNC).
• Liaise, collaborate, and visit with suppliers both locally and overseas.
• Produce part and assembly drawings.
• Modify existing product components using SolidWorks.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Product Design.
• Portfolio showing your skills for product design.
• Proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D design and visualisation software e.g. SolidWorks, Keyshot, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Proficient in hand sketching.
