Product Compliance Manager

What you'll do:

1. Assess requirements for new and existing electronic consumer products.
2. Audit supporting product documentation and compliance reports.
3. Track EU Directives, Regulations and Standards to ensure that required product changes are implemented in a timely manner.
4. Ensure no hold-ups to either new product launch or existing production.
5. Drive continuous improvement of Sky's product compliance process.
6. Effectively communicate process & requirements and work collaboratively across Group Supply Chain, Legal & Group Products teams.
7. Manage multiple complex stakeholder relationships.
8. Centre of excellence for Radio Equipment; Electromagnetic Conformity (EMC) or Eco-design Directive.

1. Proven experience in electronic product design / engineering.
2. Proven experience in ensuring that UK and European products comply with applicable legislation.
3. Detailed knowledge of the European Radio Equipment Directive (or the equivalent UK legislation), with specific experience of a technology such as Wi-Fi.
4. Detailed knowledge of one (or preferably two) of the following European Directives: Safety; Electromagnetic Conformity; Eco-design Directive.
5. Excellent communication skills & proven ability to influence teams.
6. Ideally a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
